Yoram Kafkafi

I photograph what uplifts and moves me. My primary interest is landscape photography, with a focus on the reflections of sunlight. I am drawn into the layers of light and shadow, which can come forward or recede at sunrise and sunset, creating fascinating optical illusions. 

I have traveled to all five continents in a quest to capture special moments or unique scenes that will never come back. In my latest journey, prior to Covid-19, I have discovered Namibia which is the closest I have seen to alien-like landscape.

I am not a religious person, but the epic sights at sunset, high above the dunes, evoke strong feelings and emotions in me, as if transporting me back to the time of Creation.
